Biography
Karlos Balderas is a boxer who represented the United States at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games. Years earlier, in 2014, he won the lightweight division in the national qualifying event tournament for the Toronto 2015 Pan American Games.
He qualified for the Olympics by winning his division gold medal and received recognition for his great performance in the World Series of Boxing.
At the Olympics he won his first two bouts, but lost in the quarterfinals. Since 2017 he turned professional.
